They are recipients of the 2004-2005 Youth Triangle Chorus Trophy and performed for the 2004 North Carolina Music Educators’ Conference in Winston-Salem. During January 2008, the Sandpipers performed in an International Choral Festival in London, England. In December of 2009, the Sandpipers joined the Raleigh Ringers in their annual Christmas Concert at Meymandi Hall. They also performed Bach’s Saint John’s Passion with the NC Master Chorale at Meymandi Hall in 2014. Also in 2014, members of the Sandpipers were selected to sing with the National Honors Choir in Nashville, Tennessee for the National Association for Music Educators in-service conference.
